Tips for Lightfoot Restaurant

This is an old bank.When you enter you
see several old vaults;and dark woods.
Had a late lunch.There was a nice list of sandwiches and salads though. Cheese tray was great....more than enough for 2 people. Goatcheese wjth honey eaten with gingersnaps was a real treat.Fish and chips were also good. Will be back to try dinner.

For my wife's birthday I selected Lightfoot as we have had a reliably good dining experience there several times in the past. The service has sometimes been great and sometimes been mediocre but never bad. This experience was no different.

First visit here last night. Very neat building! We had a 7:30 reservation. We got there a little early. Our table was not quite ready so we sat in the bar for a drink. We were seated about 15 minutes past our reservation. They were packed! The food was really good. We were seated upstairs right next to the grand piano and guitar/bass player. I had the filet, my husband had the swordfish. Both were great. The tomato soup was delicious. We got a Strawberry Sundae for dessert that was a special for the night and it was fantastic. I imagine once we make our way around restaurants in Loudoun we will back here for another date night. :)
