Setting the standard for luxury in the heart of one of the largest shopping districts in the state.. The Scene
Offering celebrated services and amenities, this luxury hotel is located in the busy shopping and business district of Northern Virginia known as Tysons Corner. It is within walking distance to upscale stores such as Tiffany, Saks Fifth Avenue and Hermes. In fact, most visitors come to Tysons for its outstanding shopping, located in two huge, upscale galleria malls.

The Details
Along with lots of standard amenities, in-room details include toiletries imported from Europe, framed artwork and deluxe bedding. Views offer glimpses of Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains on one side and Washington, DC on the other. The renowned Maestro restaurant serves contemporary Italian cuisine in an open-kitchen environment, and the Lobby Lounge offers cocktails in the evening as well as afternoon tea. Recreation options include an indoor pool and sauna and a fitness center. Guests love the luxurious Day Spa located on-site--try the Ritz-Carlton Stone Therapy. Public transportation ferries guests to DC attractions 12 miles away.

PERFECT 10. They do everything right. It's amazing. They go out of their way to please their guests - especially repeat guests (i.e. They provided a plate of dried frut & nuts on my second visit). The bathrooms are solid marble. Beds are made of a featherbed layed on a very hard matress, but I found them comfortable. Rooms are very serene, quiet, well decorated, and well lit (and of course no harsh florescent lights like every other hotel these days). Of course the room svc menu is overpriced, but it offers some unique things. It is PERFECT for business travel. A great place to unwind after work - or keep working in a relaxed enviornment. I would stay here ANY time in the VA area.
