Outlet shmoutlet. So you'd never expect to find the C&B outlet right at the western tip of Old Town Alexandria, but there you go. I really enjoy everything C&B and CB2, but I'm not always a fan of their prices. Some things are quite affordable, others are laughably expensive.

This is why the C&B outlet is so, so awesome. Everything in there is priced perfectly right for those of us watching our budgets...I like to stop by a couple times a year to load up on kitchen staples like spatulas, whisks, dish towels, pot holders, rammekins, etc. and also when I have something particular in mind to purchase, but am flexible on what it looks like: throw pillows for the couch, a runner for the dining table, an area rug for the front hall, new napkins, candle-holders, etc.

Adding to the experience, the place looks like any other C&B, is really well-stocked and is nicely maintained. The merchandise isn't jumbled everywhere in disorganized piles like some outlet stores. It's beautifully organized and presented. Really nice so much so in fact that you hardly feel like a poor recent post college grad (hello me) shopping outlet.
