view & uploadThis is a very fun place to go with large groups of people, we have always found the staff to be very accommodating to our needs.
I have visited Murphy's twice and I love this place! If you're looking for some good bitters and grub, this is the place for you. I've passed through Ireland a few times over the years and the food here brings me back to those visits. Many of the partons are indeed Irish and the cuisine is authentic. The Sunday brunch is fantastic and of couse the beer makes it all go down smootly.
I eat at Murphy's every time I come to
Alexandria (2x/year since 2003). I've been here now since May and i have never once had a bad meal or bad service at Murphy's. The pub has it's own friendly atmosphere and even though you have tourists here it has a hometown feel to it. People are very friendly and its the kind of place where, if you go, you should plan on having a good time if they have entertainment.
The meals are priced reasonably and they bring your food out faster than most restaurants. If you go later in the week or on the weekend, try to get there before the entertainment starts, in order to get your meal and eat without feeling crowded.
Love it! Love it! Love it! I had my best times at this place. The bar at night is great. Downstairs live band is the best. People working there are awesome, and it attracts fun , young and great crowd. Drinks and late night menus are great too.
I highly recommend this pub. Atmosphere is great with best service and good quality food. It is always a great place to be.
Inexpensive. Inexpensive and tasty food.... you will never be disappointed....
really enjoyed the food. We had lucnh here and really enjoyed the food. We had hamburgers and chicken tenders for starters. I loved the Irish music playing in the background. Susan & John NY
