Loved the convenience of this delli. Very easy to order, friendly staff, lots of choices. Bread was fresh and tasty, the cheese and meat in my sandwich was of the highest quality.

This hole-in-the-wall, directly across the street from the DC Police dept. on NY Ave, has been serving great roast beef sandwiches, carved fresh from the steamship round, for over 100 years!! Really! They also have carved fresh turkey and on Fridays only, a GREAT fresh Ham sandwich on a poppy seed bun. There are a couple of patio tables outside, so this is a carry out place, as the traffic on NY Ave is busy!!
