Union Station DC store #22 - Shady Grady.
I did not know that it was possible to experience customer service this poor- and dishonest. I was encouraged to pay for merchandise for pick-up in 14 days. When I returned to pick it up I was directed to come back multiple times, for weeks. No one ever bothered to see why two separate orders totaling almost $200 was late.
When I requested they check; they informed me that I was inconveniencing them because they had sales to make. Only Keisha the manager would assist me.
It was only when I complained to customer service that I learned they'd lost merchandise. Keisha suggested that if they couldn't find merchandise they weren't refunding me my money and they haven't . I subsequently attempted to return all the new merchandise I'd purchased (with receipts) but was informed that they were not going to honor the 90day/3month no problem return policy printed on the back of their receipts.
Instead they said that they were only going to allow returns within 2 months/60 days and I was out of luck. They also informed me that Chico's doesn't refund in cash so that any returns I was eligible for would be mailed by check within about 4-6 weeks.
It's been three months since I began requesting my cash refund; they have not provided it nor have they changed their written refund policy. I may lose a job due to lack of cash for transportation costs.
i wan't allowed to speak with the regional manager because she only works out of her home. Corporate is supposed to be resolving the issue. I was required pay to mail the merchandise I wanted to return to their corporate office in Florida. They were supposed to resolve the matter immediately. Earlier today I received an email asking for my bank information.
3 months later- I;m still waiting for my refund which is more than %500. Who knew this company was struggling so badly that they had to resort to these tactics to compete in the marketplace.
Their Better Business Bureau cred's are poor - who knew that customers should check this information before shopping in this Union Station store in Washington, DC
