Tips for Mccormick & Schmick's Seafood Washington Dc (k Street)

Awesome food, excellent happy hour. McCormick & Schmick's has some of the best seafood in the city in an upscale atmosphere. Eating a full meal here can get very expensive, very quickly. However, if you go during their amazingly cheap happy hour, you'll get to sample the menu and still have Metro fare home.

The happy hour lasts from 3:30-7 and 10-11 on Monday—Thursday, and 3:30-7 on Friday's. Apps start at $1.95 for munches like hummus and only go up to $4.95 for seafood apps like crab cake sliders and calamari.

You can't beat that, especially considering that this restaurant is one of DC's best.

Amazing food specials on Happy Hour. $2 Hummus and Queso, $3 1/2lb burgers and $4 chicken quesadillas?! Yes please.

Though McCormick and Schmicks may lack when it comes to drink specials, but they more than make up for it with their happy hour priced menu specials! You do need to spend at least $3.50 on drinks in order to get the food deals, but with normal drink prices you shouldnt have a hard time racking up the $3.50 pre-req bill.

All in all a good spot to drop by on your way out of the office!

Clubby corporate restaurant draws seafood lovers with fresh daily catches and posh atmosphere.. In Short
Upscale and sophisticated, this chain features art deco-inspired trappings such as dark wood, shiny brass and beveled glass. Servers clad in black and white weave through cocktailing couples and businessmen at the bar. The classic American, seasonally inspired seafood menu changes daily; specialties include starters of Dungeness crab cakes and oysters on the half shell, plus entrees like cedar plank-roasted salmon, sauteed lobster with scallops and rock shrimp, and seared yellowfin tuna with wasabi, soy and ginger.
