This Georgetown Italian restaurant is tucked below M Street on Wisconsin Avenue--so it's often overlooked by tourists and shoppers--but those who do happen upon it will find a lively and sprawling two-floor space. Papa Razzi serves the kind of classic, hearty Italian fare that Americans have come to expect in a trattoria. Meals start with a slice of freshly baked focaccia (pair it with the chili-infused oil on the table) and hand-rolled grissini. The menu includes wood-fired, thin crust pizzas, a variety of meat dishes and pasta with made-to-order sauces. Portions are large, so consider splitting an entree and saving room for dessert or something off the lengthy wine menu.
