This busy Georgetown spot is the perfect place to stop off for a bite before or after a day of shopping in Washington, D.C. From the complimentary breadsticks to unusual ingredients such as butternut squash and pine nuts incorporated in salads, pizzas and specials, it’s hard to find an item on the menu that doesn’t look appetizing to the bevy of young professionals that stop by for cocktails and dinner. The wait staff , who navigate the small, intimate restaurant, are friendly and accommodating, always willing to help seat larger groups, too. During the summer, windows open and patio seating emerges, making it the perfect spot to people-watch and indulge in the spinach and strawberry salad. Understated and just a bit upscale, it’s a classy restaurant for grabbing dinner with girlfriends after splurging at one of the high-end shops right down the street.
