Authentic Italian and beautiful decor

One of the most beautiful settings I have ever been in. You will not know it from the street, don't walk by, go right down those stairs and when you turn take a minute to look around.

Everything is very well prepared, the waiters are great, salads outstanding and the tramasu is a meal in itself (and I HATE coffee)!

I am not from DC, but I go back 3-4 times a year and I always try to get reservations before I go

• Pros: Food is fabulous, love after dinner liquor
• Cons: Never tried lunch...hear it is better
