Good sushi in Cleveland Park.
There's not a lot of sushi joints to choose from in the Cleveland Park/Van Ness area. Spices is one of the few, and luckily for locals, the sushi is fresh and the overall experience is great.
I rarely go to the restaurant itself. It's a small little place, and it fills up quickly. Instead of going in and sitting down, I like to just order delivery. Sushi delivery is hard to find in this area, so I really appreciate the fact that Spices does this. There's no minimum delivery either, which is another plus.
The rolls are moderately priced, especially if you stay off the special roll section.
