Love this place. This crowd is not like the Starbucks-on-the-go crowd: when they plant themselves down in a chair or on a sofa you will not be able to dislodge them for hours. Very Parisian of them. The servers are tatooed and cool. The coffee and tea selection is good. The food is pretty good. I just go when I feel like being a college student again.

Citysearch Editorial Review. Perhaps D.C.'s most famous blogger hangout, Adams Morgan's Tryst serves up food, coffee and cocktails to an always-packed crowd. It's the kind of place you'd expect to find near a college campus in the Northwest: a place where alt-rock plays on the stereo as intense, quasi-bearded young men and nose-pierced women hover over laptops in the large, open space dotted with abstract art work and mismatched arm chairs. Tryst transitions easily from day to night: Waffles and other breakfast selections are served all day; soup, salad and sandwiches satiate the lunch crowd, and the lights dim at night for candles and cocktail menus.
