Citysearch Editorial Review. This infamous, hole-in-the-wall Italian restaurant serves traditional, family-style pasta to hungry Adams Morgan diners. Consistently long lines of people wait nightly for one of the red-and-white checkered tables in the crowded dining room. The restaurant has strict policies on just about everything--no substitutions, cash only and cheese comes with everything--but the giant portions (whether it be the heaping tomato and mozzarella salad or the dinner-plate sized tiramisu) and simple comfort food remain crowd-pleasers year after year.
