Citysearch Editorial Review.
This Tenleytown eatery is packed with students from nearby American University, a vote of confidence in the food that should inspire new visitors to sample its multitude of calzones and salads. The menu is full of basic Italian specialties in the typical pizza and pasta genres, but sandwiches, salads and starters, including hummus and eggplant dip, are just as notable. Booth seats run against the wall and offset tables and chairs to accommodate as many people as possible, resulting in a cramped-but-cozy dining room complemented by the dim lighting. Grab a booth in this tiny restaurant, lean over the table to chat with a friend and indulge in cheese-filled comfort food. (Photo by Flickr user mccun934)
