Tips for Eli's Restaurant

Kosher in DC without being a Rip-Off.. We were looking for a kosher restaurant for dinner in the DC area, so we would not have to go far (to Maryland or Virginia). We were told of Eli's so we went there, expecting high prices, for the convenience of location. We were so pleasantly surprised. The place was very very nice. The prices were really reasonable and the service was quick and friendly. We ordered soup and it came in a BIG bowl, not just coffee cup size. The chicken fingers, for the children, were so large they could almost have been long cutlets. My grandson wanted everything on a different plate, and there was no problem with the staff. We had gone early, so there was no problem with seating, but when we left, there was a line to get in.
