Great Italian-. Traveled to DC for a little history in Summer 2010.

Researched Italian restaurants online before hand.

Found Giovanni's Trattu..

Great little Italian restaurant. Good service, food was ridiculously great!

I had the Gnocchi..fantastic! My wife had Veal Scallopini, which was VERY good as well. Very small restaurant, downstairs from street level.

Highly recommend.

Honest Italian food. Make sure you get a reservation - they have about 12 tables and they fill up quickly!
