Cozy date spot. Al Tiramisu is a great spot for a date night. The setting is warm and inviting. The only drawback is that the tables are very close together so you'll be on three dates at once. We ended up talking with the couple next to us and they easily could have eaten off of our plates. Once you're over the fact that your conversation isn't going to be private, it's a great place to enjoy fine italian food. The service is great and the wine list is extensive (although a bit pricey). Worth it if you;re looking for a nice night out.

Glorious!. THree friends and I dined at this quaint restaurant and it was a lovely experience indeed! We were greeted with alacrity and warmth and our waitor was so curteous and knowledgeable. He recommened a lovely red blend when I asked about the Chianti and I am quite glad we went with his recommendation. EVERYTHING was utterly delicious. I had the octopus to start, quite yummy. I tried my friend's scallops and they were equally tasty. I had the special lobster stuffed spinach ravioli and it was perfect! I tried my friend's lamb shank with soft polenta, which was cooked to perfection, and I was completely sold on this place: so flavourful, meat falling off the bone just as it should. We almost skipped dessert-- I am so glad we did not. This restaurant is not called Al Tiramisu for no reason...the tiramisu was divine! I look forward to my next trip to DC...I will definitely be dining here again. It's a great place to go for a cozy atmosphere and delicious food.
