This is really the only Chinese place
in the neighborhood that I trust for consistency and fresh ingredients. The delivery is always speedy and the service is friendly and efficient. The portions are a good size so I always have enough for leftovers the next day, and I appreciate that their food isn't as greasy or soaked in sauce as other places.

DC's Best Chinese Delivery.
Mr. Chens is the Chinese delivery I recommend first to friends in NW DC. They have a pretty wide delivery area, deliver fairly late, and are always speedy. A friend of mine recently called to ask me what the name of "that Chinese place you order from" is called, and after calling she got her order in 30 minutes.
Ordering online doesn't mean it will take your food longer to get to you. I order both ways; they even process Web orders pretty quickly. The website is really easy to use, too.
Most people wouldn't think about going to Mr. Chens to dine in, but I think it's really pleasant if sort of dive-y. The fact that it's in the basement of a Baskin-Robbins adds to that charm. The ambiance is better than you'd expect, and it's cozy in the winter.
Meat dishes are best in-house, I think, but I'm picky about meat. I'd rather order something like crispy beef in-house where I know it will be piping hot. Delivery stuff can always get cold. If you're worried about that, stick to the always-delicious fried rice and lo mein, which reheat really well.

Citysearch Editorial Review.
Just steps from the Woodley Park metro stop, this casual 12-table Chinese restaurant specializes in organic, traditional cuisine and is a local favorite for delivery in the surrounding neighborhoods.
