Friendly staff and wonderful food. I would suggest spending as little time as possible with the host/hostess. But the bar and tables are fabulous. I frequent this place.

Outside eating was an embarassing. It may have been for a military group having its night out, and running the gutter mouth, but it happened on another occasion. It's over-priced, overhyped, Americana. That stretch seems to be endemic for people hanging, sucking beers, but less for real restaurant, dining. For proper dining, I'd recommend Tasco's, Sette Bello. I do not know about Facia, the neighboring restuarant.

a touch of regret that i did not review this place earlier in my experience(s). i've eaten here a few times (even ordered carry-out once) and had nothing but pleasant encounters... until my most recent one. good review first: my absolute favorite dish is the seared tuna salad. it comes with two dressings (one is a wasabi) and both are divine. the wine selections are both yummy and reasonably priced by the glass. the calamari comes with a delicious sweet/sour sauce. the service has been impeccable until... i'm from the 703 which means i'm kind of a big deal leaps to mind. i arrived saturday, about 5pm, and asked to be seated outside (for 2). the hostess asked me if my entire party was here (i admittedly didn't read the sign on the door), and informed me that since my friend had not arrived i am deemed an incomplete party. there were plenty of empty tables in my hour-long wait for my friend, which might have otherwise been occupied by a wine-drinking patron (me). when my friend arrived, the hostess had the audacity to point out see? you've been waiting an hour! i did not hesitate to mention that the restaurant might have made money (isn't this the point) off the two glasses of wine i might well have consumed in that hour. here's the kicker: the hostess seats us at a four-top. there are at least three empty two-tops around the corner. the most unfortunate component to my most recent experience is that about 1am i awoke, violently ill, from what could be nothing but the seared tuna (or a gift from the hostess). this does not mean i suggest to steer clear, but perhaps bring extra wasabi! ... and lie about the completeness of your party if you want a seat outside.
