The food is good. Very good atmosphere for lunch or dinner. I like their chips and salsa better than Don Pablo. I like there quesidilla. Overall an average place for maxican food.

Cafe Salsa was very good. I had the palomilla steak which was seasoned to perfection and my husband enjoyed the arroz con pollo. The black beans were delicious. If you are used to tasting black beans from chain mexican restaurants or a variety of American chains-- you will be in for a treat. They serve the real thing. True from scratch black beans just like my grandmother used to make them. The prices are moderate. My palomilla steak cost 15.95. My husband's meal was about $13. The waitress was very attentive-- the service was top notch. I highly recommend it.

For a Cuban flavor and a treat for your taste buds it is fun to go to Cafe Salsa. They offer a wide variety of Carribbean dishes bursting with flavor. While you are waiting for your meal you are served plantain and corn chips to be dipped in salsa. Their tender calamari appetizer is served with a pineapple salsa. I have had several of their appetizers, all of them delicious. I recommend you go with several people who order different dishes so that you can share in the variety. The dinners are not for the budget conscious, so save up your money to indulge. The service is very good. Also the parking is the same as anything on King Street, dependent on luck!
