Steakhouse With Great Non-Steak Dishes.
I'll confess that I've never had steak at Charlie Palmer's - I have had a salad with steak in it but never an actual piece of steak. And that's ok; the few dishes I have had at CP's were excellent. I'm a fan of their $25 pre fixe lunch, since the high-caliber quality of dishes here extends beyond $25 a pop. Definitely try the filet mignon salad - the poached egg is always perfectly cooked and accompanies everything well. Their fish dishes are also amazing - I've had a seasonal bass dish that was perfectly cooked with an amazing sauce I couldn't stop covering each bite with. And if they're available, try the brussels sprouts - they're perfectly roasted with pearl onions and bacon and are hard to share.
