Citysearch Editorial Review. Adams Morgan's Asylum leads somewhat of a double life; pierced and tattooed bands take the small stage for live shows on Thursday and Friday evenings, while the restaurant's vegan-friendly menu is renowned as one of the best in D.C., particularly for weekend brunch.

Great music, great food.
The previous reviewer clearly has mistaken this place with the skate board shop in Chinatown. Anyway, I love this place. Great bar food, great bartenders, great ambiance and great music. While I don't have any tattoos or anything, I thought all the people I chatted were very cool...and I work on the hill.
I'll be back, and I wanna try their brunch which I've heard is incredible.
