I wanted to like Rosa's I really did. I really and truly did want to like Rosa's but alas the hugely long wait time, the so so food, and teh watered down margs keep me from going baove 2 stars. Sorry Rosa's I will try agin but im not thrilled to do so.

Citysearch Editorial Review. Plush and inviting, Rosa Mexicano has all the markers of a fine dining restaurant. Its upscale reputation hasn’t stiffened the Latin love of a party, though: Enormous stone bowls simmer with liquid queso, and the air is dense with spices and laughing conversations. The house specialty is the guacamole, prepared tableside with plenty of flair and flavor to match. The tablones, grilled beef short ribs, are legendary--fork-tender and seasoned with smoky, savory onions and peppers as a crowning glory. The tres leches, a south-of-the-border staple, finds a new twist with tropical flavors and unexpected fruits. The result is much like the establishment itself--familiar enough to be homey and surprising enough to be worth the indulgence.

Best Tres Leches Cake...ever???. I made my boyfriend take me there just for dessert on my birthday to get this cake. It's so good. Each person gets their own personal mini-cake, and it's covered in marshmallow meringue and comes with tropical fruit salsa. Definitely get this if you go there (or just go there and get drinks and dessert!)
