Citysearch Editorial Review. With a prime corner location just north of Dupont Circle, this Italian restaurant is a popular choice for area business lunches and locals grabbing dinner after work. Floor-to-ceiling windows look out on patio dining and busy Connecticut Avenue, and yellow and orange walls inside match the brightly tiled tables, all contributing to a cheery, Tuscan-inspired setting. Traditional Neapolitan dishes such as lasagna, gnocchi and fettuccine alla bolognese are prepared in the open kitchen, though the standout here is the pizza from the wood-burning pizza oven. Brunch is also available on weekends until 3pm with a large menu of eggs, pastries and classics such as pancakes or waffles--with a Nutella twist.
Terrible everything. Went here with friends for a late dinner and drinks, and just about everything that could go wrong, did. Starting with bartenders who were absolutly useless--we had to use our iphone to look up recipes for cocktails for them. They had no drink menus, and then when we asked them what they suggested, the answer was "dunno, what do you want?" Dinner though was even worse, and 2 out of 3 meals were practically inedible. The broccoli was sour, and had to be picked out. Really disgusting. Waitress forgot one of our drinks, it was just an overall bad experience. Lots of Attitude for terrible food and terrible options. Maybe it was just a fluke, but I will not go back again.
