If you're in Adam's Morgan.....you MUST.
Falafel tastes great here, I love it and will always come back! One of the best places to grab falafel in DC

A cult favorite in Adams Morgan, this casual fast-food spot specializes in falafel sandwiches--order at the bar, then garnish the freshly fried treat using the 21 sauces and toppings, which also go well with the joint's famous fries.

Fresh, affordable, and tasty..
Cheap, tasty, international (even accepts euros as payment), quasi healthy, and will allow you to fall sleep full and wake up feeling much better than your pals who will go home and gorge on cheese-its after a long night on the town. What else can one truly ask for?
As a disclaimer Amsterdam would be a great stop for lunch or a quick dinner, but in my situation I have only frequented here in the later evening hours.

Wastey Grubbin in Amsterdam.
We've all been there. Last call has come and gone, closing time in upon you, but the tum is looking for the after party. Sure, there's pizza, maybe you're even near an empenada shack, but sometimes I'm lookin for the sloppy delicious fried goodness that can only be achieved with the Middle East's finest product (sorry crude oil and incredibly intricate and beautiful languages and dialects). I'm talking felafel. They serve it up pretty hot and plain and allow you to create the mouth filling masterpiece of your wildest drunken dreams. Note: this food is also good in a sober state.
