This neighborhood favorite--with two full bars, an enclosed patio and outdoor seating--consistently ranks among the top sports bars in the city in local polls. The 19 flat screen TVs are easily visible from every seat in the house and the friendly atmosphere encourages mingling among alumni groups and casual fans alike, especially before games at the nearby Verizon Center. The bar-grub menu includes fried ravioli, panini sandwiches and a veritable mountain of nachos, as well as unexpected items such as French onion soup and sesame tuna salad. New visitors should try the tater tots--one of the most popular menu items and always served with a smile--and make it a point to wander upstairs to check out the collection of football memorabilia.
