Mmmmm mmmm Good.
This is seriously good barbecue. Seriously.
I have some weird food hang ups - I won't eat anything off a bone and, in general, BBQ sauce is usually a little cloying for me.
Mr.P's changed all that.
Roll up to the bus in the Safeway parking lot on Rhode Island, stumble out of your car and order anything. Seriously, it's gonna be good.
Ive had the rib tips a number of times, 5 bucks for a pretty hefty container of succulent, fall off the bone, hickory smoked pieces of meat goodness. The sauce is tangy and delicious and I don't mind wearing it as I inevitably make a mess.
Eat it in your car, on the sidewalk, wherever. Bring cash.
The sides are worth the ride too. Baked beans that lend enlightenment to the humble bean. Cole slaw that has the right crunch and tang to finish your meal.
It's only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
