Location, location, location!. The Crowne Plaza was a fairly upscale hotel with close proximity to most of the downtown DC sights. The fitness center is small, but the equipment is modern. Probably not a place I could afford if traveling alone, but a great place to stay with friends. In the end, it was reasonably priced by splitting the cost with others.
