90th Birthday of my mom. We celebrate our mom 90th Birthday at Vespucci, the food was fresh and delicious the presentation was out standing, the service was greet . We were a large grope and every one enjoyed the food and every thing, especially my mom had good time and wanted to see the owner , when the owner came out my mom give him a hug and pry for him and wish him good luck . That made my day, I have to say thank you Vespucci, I will recommend Vespucci to others and will go back soon.

Unique in every aspect you can imagine!. Vespucci have it all, Fresh, no additives, no "MSG" and all made from scratch. Even bread is home-made. Beautiful outdoor allows you to bring your behaved pets as well. What else a restaurant can do to be the best is not possible.

I was giving up on Italian food until I experienced Vespucci. Coming from NY the biggest gap in my life in Northern Virginia was the quality restaurant with authentic food. I guess people are too busy to care anymore in this area and they only care about socializing. I been in Vespucci twice and felt I am home! No one I repeat no one can beat their quality and service in the area. Believe you me, I tried them all and Vespucci's food is awesome and service is superb. Ask for Blaze or Delbar and you'll see what I am talking about. I live little far from them, but I continue going there every week ... I highly recommend them specially for families who care about healthy food

BUT WHY???. This is the best thing ever happened to the Fairfax City. food, service and ambiance is extraordinary. I came a cross this restaurant on Thursday night and we loved it. We are going there tonight and will be their regular customer. This week is their 7th year anniversary and they offered us 15% discount on our entire bill. You can't beat that. Those who wrote against this restaurant are either low class competition or ex-employees who need to get a life. You wont regret going to this establishment. I promise.

Aweful Delay, Food, Service and Experience. Having fresh food should be no excuse for a delay in the kitchen unless the fisherman is outback reeling in the line after the order is placed. By the way, why should the owner get all offended when an inquiry is made?

If you deliver bad service and have an attitude, do you expect to be in business much longer?

Stop the excuses and lies and start providing a quality product or do Fairfax a favor and Addio (Italian for goodbye). The place would look better as a parking lot. What is up with the lighted icicles?

Italian For People Who Don't Know Italian. I read about Vespucci's in a Yelp review about the owner's response to a negative review. I was appalled at his attitude, wrote him a note about it, and called my brother, who lives in Northern VA. I asked him if he had ever eaten there and got a brief chuckle in response.

"Knucklehead," he sighed, "YOU ate there. On your last trip here. You don't remember? After all that bitching?"

As soon as he said that, it all came back: out with him and his wife and four friends who live near Vespucci's, his friends paying, so we go where they want. They pick Vespucci's at random. I'm a former chef and have made Italian food - from every region - for thirty years. The friends didn't know that and my brother thought it would be fun to see my reaction.

My reaction was to simply leave the food on the plate and concentrate on the wine. Vespucci's is Italian food for people who know nothing about Italian food. Greasy, gratuitously fatty, over-seasoned, clumsy, not authentic to ANY region of Italy, this stuff reads on the menu like ambrosia and tasted like roadkill. It was EASILY the worst Italian dinner I have ever been served and, as everyone sampled everyone else's, I realized it was not just my dish.

I'm not going to go into a lot of detail here because, frankly, what was on my plate didn't deserve to be taken that seriously. As a chef and someone who has worked with GREAT Italian chefs, I was appalled at Vespucci's. People who like the place, Good Bless you. I don't like to see even bad restaurants fail but I could ALMOST make an exception for this place. If this is run,as their website suggests, by Italians, I think their memories of home are getting a tad faded. The One-Star I gave it is generous. If it were possible to remove that, I would. The best thing I can say is that we had a nice wine and our waiter was very professional. That's it. Otherwise, there is no reason for any of our party to ever go there again, as everyone agreed in the parking lot, afterwards. BRUTAL.
