amazing Sunday Brunch Buffet. I'm partial to both good buffets and great deals for dining and the Brunch Buffet on Sundays at this location of Houlihan's combines both! Consistent quality, variety, decent atmosphere, good service and value.

It is offered on Sundays from 11AM - 2PM. They always have a selection of beef, chicken and seafood (sometimes more than one of each type), vegetables, pastas, salads, breakfast items, omelet station, pastries, fresh fruit and desserts.

Last Sunday for example, they had - chicken and beef fajitas (make your own), 2 kinds of pasta with 2 kinds of sauce, carved prime rib, breaded chicken fillets with sun dried tomatoes, salmon, individual shrimp cocktails with 4 shrimps each, baby baked potatoes, roasted vegetables, green bean salad, mushroom/carrot teriyaki salad, cucumber salad, pasta salad, fresh greens with 2 types of dressing, breakfast items - eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, waffles (with the standard whipped cream, strawberries, syrup), the omelet station, cantaloupe and honeydew melon balls, a selection of pastries (always fresh). Cheesecake, German chocolate cake, creme caramel, were just some of the dessert selections. Your choice of regular beverage is included (coffee, tea, juice, etc...). Price is $16.95 pp. Bloody Marys are offered for $2.

Each week the selection changes for most of the main entrees - but they always have something in each category. It's not probably the best buffet for vegetarians, as even though they do offer a variety of vegetables and salads, the focus is the meat/seafood entrees. The quality is always good and they replenish the food often enough that things stay fresh.

Secret to making this an even better deal and if you've read my reviews you know that the first time I try anything I probably had a coupon or offer of some kind - is that there is a coupon that makes this 2 for 1. An offer rarely seen for all-u-can eat anything, especially with this selection and quality. The coupon is on the back of register tape at local Giant stores in the Springfield/Burke area (believe it or not). I purchased one item at Giant and got 3. I usually don't even look at register tape coupons but I happened to notice the Houlihan's logo on the back of my receipt. Without the coupon it is an ok deal due to the variety and quality of the selections, but with it, it's phenomenal.

I've eaten here for lunch and dinner as well, and it has been very good. Join their free email club for great values there.

They have nice comfortable booths, no smoke drifting from the bar area any longer, the servers are friendly and the food quality has been consistently good.
