Crooked Mechanics and FAKE Reviews.
It seems that the Shirlington FRAUD Center has recently hired some kind of PR service to wallpaper over the many negative reviews it was receiving elsewhere for systematically defrauding its patrons.
Look at the rating histories of all these "5-star" commenters with auto-gen names - you will notice that they give extremely generous and carefully worded 5-star ratings to EVERY establishment they review. These are not real reviews.
If you want to see some real reviews from real people who have visited the Shirlington FRAUD Center, check them out elsewhere and you will see that these mechanics are nothing more than a FRAUD operation. It's a joke that they are allowed to abuse the state inspection process to hold cars ransom and demand thousands of dollars for needless repairs that aren't even part of the inspection process. Their license should be revoked immediately.

Polite and knowledgeable staff. I have brought my 2002 Volvo to shirlington service center many times for a number of repairs and have had absolutely no issues with this place. Staff is knowledgeable and polite and always has work done within the estimated time. I would take my car there anytime for any type of repair.

Cheap, honest and quick.
Cheap, honest and quick service! There simply isn't anything else to say about this place.
I'd highly recommend them if you need a quick repair on a tire and I'll definitely be stopping by to purchase a new set of tires whenever I need them.

These guys are great! They are friendly, honest and old school!
If you want it done right this is where you should take your car. My wife recommended them to me when we were dating now I wouldn't go any where else

Professional and timely. I've had my oil changed and had state inspections here a number of times and the service is very professional and timely. I really like the location because when they are quite busy sometimes it will take a couple of hours which they will let me know up front. I don't mind because there are great restaurants, a few shops and the movie theater nearby so after a meal or a movie my car is ready.

THE VERY BEST. IF YOU WANT YOU CAR FIXED RIGHT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THE VERY BEST AND IT'S NOT IN FAIRFAX IT IS IN ARLINGTON AT SHIRLINGTON SERVICE CENTER.

had no problems. I've been using Shirlington Service Center for 15 years. Recently I had a serious warning light. Ray Bowes said the codes indicated two parts required replacement, at either $700 or $1500 for both. Local dealership said $1200 but offered no explanation. Shirlington did it for $700 and it was fine. I've had no problems with their inspections. The comment about nearby restaurants was well taken.
