Citysearch Editorial Review. Located inside the Courtyard Marriott, Nage Bistro is not a run-of-the-mill chain hotel restaurant. The warm space just a few blocks from Dupont on Scott Circle feels cozy with high-backed maroon booths, carpeting, and red and orange lights that illuminate it all in a warm glow. In the kitchen, executive chef Glenn Babcock whips up New American fare such as roasted chicken, lobster mac, salmon and burgers with truffled frites. Though the food is upscale, novice noshers should fear not: Nage prides itself on its "creative food without the 'tude,"--waiters are friendly, informed and happy to make menu suggestions, and patrons run the gamut from sneaker-clad, gym-fresh locals to Dupont business types. One of the biggest draws? The back bar, where guests crowd to take advantage of great specials and a separate bar menu.
