Fantastic food and drink specials. Even though it's located in the thick of GWs campus, it's not overrun with undergrads and that college feel like other nearby establishments. Instead, you'll find a menu with a diverse selection of salads, sandwiches, and entrees and a fun and friendly staff. There tends to be a wait here, especially during the lunch hour. Try to make a reservation if possible. Happy hours offer great drink specials and serves as a fun place to meet after class or work for grad students and professionals alike.

Where the college and working worlds meet. Tried Tonic for my first time the other day and was mighty impressed. I was ready for some so so bar food and a decent happy hour and found myself completely thrown off with half off drafts (I had a stella and a magic hat for a grand total of $6) and $4 tater tots and nachos which were both extremely tasty drinking fare and helped give me the energy to cheer on my Baylor Bears as they made their way into the Elite 8! All in all great staff and a good prices for a happy hour will have me come back again after work, though I cant say I would necessarily choose tonic as my non happy hour hangout... the non HH prices are a touch high for what one gets, but hey between the hours of 5-7 I will definitely frequent this establishment and would recommend it to anyone!
