Best car purchasing experience I have ever had! They really paid close attention to what I was looking for and was not trying to get me to sign that night and get me out the door. They routinely call me to ask how everything is going and ask about my visits to their excellent service department. Very Friendly location. I would recommend this location to anyone! Thank you Ourisman Chevorlet of Bowie.

Absolutely amazing service, Evan went out of his way to make it a pleasurable buying experience and not pressure me into a sale. I was interested in a 2011 Chevy Cruze, to purchase as my first vehicle but the dealership was located too far away for me to walk to so I called on the phone, and when I discussed my intrest, Evan actually offered to drive me to the dealership from my house to look at the vehicle and the various options. When I got to the dealership, there was no pressure to even purchase a vehicle, let alone get uneeded option. I ended up picking out a Chevy Cruze 1LT with the exact options I wanted, and have owned it for a month now and absolutely love it. The financing department managed to get me car payments that where half the price of my purchased car insurance! This was without me having any history of credit. I couldnt recommend this dealership more.

I recently purchased a 2011 Chevy Traverse and Joseph Alba was my salesman. He was very professional and informative. He stayed after closing just to make sure my needs were met. He had my vehicle waiting for me and also helped set up my ONSTAR and GPS. I was so happy with my new vehicle that I left items in the old vehicle which Mr. Alba helped me retrieve. I will recommend him to anyone that is in need of a new vehicle. He is very personable.

Will never go there again!. My salesperson was Lee Putney, he went from overly nice to arrogant, ignorant and slightly rude. Tried to switch a car on was trying to sell the test driven car to me for a "good deal" but I went inside the dealership he drove another car to the front, same color but a lower class (less features) and tripled the mileage. When I pointed it out to him he try to change the subject.

He was socializing with the other employees while we try to negotiate a deal. He also pretended like he didn't know what I was talking about in the finance dept when I noticed the numbers were different. He was just ghetto!

Complete Lack of Integrity. Complete Lack of Integrity

So I finally get my car back from this body shop after 4 weeks of headaches and delays to get my car fixed properly in a timely matter just to have the body shop turn around and hit me with the news that they will not be honoring their initial promise to cover my rental car for the additional 3 weeks it took them to fix my vehicle(and the paint still doesn't match) Leaving me with a $930 bill. I was told by Elmer and others that my rental would be paid for by the shop due to the numerous issues(none of those reasons of my doing) after the first week my car was in the shop. I was promised after week 1 my rental would be covered while my car was in the shop, I do not carry rental car coverage with my insurance and was paying for the rental out of pocket. When I picked up the car I was told the body shop will only pay for 1 week, which was not what they had promised. I would not have kept the rental that long if I was not under the impression that was confirmed with them twice that the rental through Enterprise would be paid by the shop. Overall a very frustrating and disappointing experience which may end in litigation.

I just want to give kudos to Ourisman Bowie Chevrolet. I just want to give kudos to Ourisman Bowie Chevrolet Service technician/mehcanic George who in my mind is the best mechanic in the Washington DC Metropolitan area. George worked on my 88 Corvette 2 years ago and recently the work he did 2 years ago eliminated an issue with my car that no other mechanic was able to fix properly. I had been to dealers in both PG and Mont. Co. to no avail. George is the man. Thanks to Bruce the Service Manager for his professionalism and service with a smile. I feel like a member of the Ourisman of Bowie Chevrolet Family.

Joe explained the ins and outs of my new Chevy Cruze with confidence, providing me with valuable information. He was extremely patient and kind throughout the whole process.
