The price was great considering the hotel is a 10 minute walk to multiple metro stops and a two minute walk distance to common places such as starbucks and cvs and not to mention you are smack dab in the middle of really anything you may need for food or pubs (the diner in the lot next to the hotel is yumm-o). Bonuses were, free wifi, breakfast in the am and the front desk staff was REALLY great!

Good hotel stay. Good size room with all necessary amenities and reasonable cleaningness. The staffs were friendly and helpful. A nice perk is the computer at the lobby for checking email or looking up a point of interest and a map.

Your room was a good size (there were three of us) and we were able to spread out comfortably. My favorite part of the room was probably the shower. the water pressure was wonderful (better than any hotel I've even been to and better thanmy home shower!). No matter what time of day someone took a shower, there was never a probelm with the water pressure or getting hotel water.

The hotel pool is great - very large and there was hardly anyone using it when we were there so it was like we had it to ourselves.

My family and I stayeda t this hotel for 4 nights recently and were very pleased. The location is great (just down the street from the University of Maryland), it's 3 blocks from the Metro Station and they offer a shuttle service to and from the station, the staff is efficient, friendly and very knowledgeable of the area.

We won't recommend nor stay here again.. I'll start with the good. It was relatively quiet even though it's very close to the college. There were a lot of places to eat (not fancy by any means... it's a college town after all.) They did supply soap, shampoo and conditioner which is getting rare.

Ok on to the bad. Our room was not cleaned after our first night. The second night there was no comment card and they left only decaf coffee. We had to have our key card reactivated the 2nd day because it didn't work. The matress was wrapped in a horrible old crunchy plastic that crinkled loudly every time we moved. The little tv guide in the room had no relation to what the channels were on the tv and the tv's picture quality was horrid. The ads all say that the motel is 3 blocks from the metro... depends on what you call a block. It's 3/4s of a mile. Didn't matter to us since we drove to the metro station and parked there. The worst is that I slipped and fell pretty hard in the tub. There were no pads on the bottom of the tub (I could see where they used to be) The edge of the tub was rounded and the shower curtain was too long, laying into the tub. BE Careful! Luckily I didn't break anything... I was just pretty bruised up.... not what I wanted for my extensive walking around DC.

Great hotel BUT... It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at goo.gl/FPxYD They have some of the best hotel deals on the web!

You NEED to stay here. If I have to go back to Kalamazoo I will definitely stay here. I loved the fitness center and the indoor pool was beautiful. If fitness centers are important to you then this is the place you need to stay.

Nice location. Hotel was easy to locate, its right off of the highway! The staff was friendly and attentive!Our only issue with the stay was we asked for a smoking room, once there they were out of smoking rooms.
