Very convenient.
I bought the Living Social deal for partial highlights, cut and style as several other readers have mentioned. I work nearby and have driven past this little salon several times, and thought it looked cute. As such, I figured I'd give it a chance...
The salon is small and boutiquey. It's a cute little place and gives you that small, personal feel. They have a very nice environment and amenities (like massage chairs, etc).
The staff was friendly and professional. They obviously enjoy their jobs and were delightful to me without being too personal as I am a bit of a quiet person and sometimes can't really handle talking with a stylist for an hour + of my time.
My experience was terrific. I treat myself to a "real" cut/style every other time I get my hair done because it's so long and thick that the prices add up fast. So, I figured it couldn't hurt to try out. My stylist Nasy was fantastic.
I went in with a general idea that I wanted to keep the length, add some layers and body and maybe add some long bangs... my stylist hit it right on. I enjoy going to a salon where I don't have to come in with a photo but that they know what is in-style and what will look good on me and can talk through their idea. My hair looks AMAZING. It's the best cut I have ever gotten. She listened to me when I said I like the length and for the first time in my life I didn't leave a salon upset about how much they cut. Secondly, the layers are perfect and look amazing.
As for the highlights... I am completely thrilled! I have blond hair that has slowly been getting darker, and coming out of the winter it looked a bit dull, so I figured I'd give it a shot. I was able to upgrade to full highlights, which I am a much bigger fan of - especially given how thick my hair is. Nasy (my stylist) was VERY thorough. It took a while to get them all set up, but the fact that she was so thorough was something that impressed me given that I was using a discount coupon. They look great. She knew exactly what I was looking for and didn't go too blond so it looks really good.
I would definitely go back in the future, but will probably have to stick to my every other cut schedule because the prices are still a little high.
On a side note, it's awesome that they take credit card (though you can't tip on it) and there is ample parking on the street so that is very convenient.

I will come back.
I bought the Groupon deal for a haircut and partial highlights and had a morning appointment on the weekend. My stylist, Trepka, greeted me immediately and was quite helpful when I told her I have never had my hair colored in any way before. She brought out the color swatches and I chose copper mahogany highlights. She took her time doing them and I am very pleased with the result. My medium brown hair has darker highlights and a lot of shine to it now. The massage chairs that you sit in to get your hair washed are a really nice perk. I rarely get much hair cut off because I am attached to it but I trusted Trepka and she took off about 2 inches and she did a great job layering it in the front and giving it a razored look like I requested. I would say this is the best hair cut I have gotten and I appreciate the time she took to blow dry it completely straight. I will come back here for highlights in the summer!
