Zengo's Richard Sandoval--nationally renowned for his gourmet Mexican dishes--has partnered with Chef Kazuchiro Okochi from Kaz Sushi Bistro in this hopping 14th Street Latin-Asian fusion restaurant and bar. The small-plate menu makes it easy to sample a variety of dishes, such as the tenaki hand rolls, thai chicken flat bread or fried tofu. Beyond the food, this is a place to see and be seen--from the open kitchen with its wood-fired brick oven to the 74-seat bar, there's no lack of activity or people to watch. Like the restaurant itself--it's all sleek brick and wood paneling--the patrons here are pretty and well-dressed.
