Best happy hour downtown!. This place is my favorite to grab some drinks and food after work. The crowd is a good mix of young professionals, and office happy hours. Try the wednesday night wing special (35 cents, offering 3 sauces) or the tuesday night $2 dollar beer, which changes every month or so. Overall quick and friendly service (at the bar at least, I've never had a waitress), I also recomend the burgers, which are some of the best I've had in DC, other than that the food is just ok.

Citysearch Editorial Review. Metro Center isn't traditionally known for its bars, but Laughing Man Tavern makes up for it. This two-story watering hole from the company behind Buffalo Billiards and Mackey's has one of the longest happy hour (or hours) in the city: Find specials on select food and drinks from 3pm to 8pm on weekdays. The cheap drinks and hot food combined with fourteen flat screens and free Wi-Fi make it easy to spend an entire day here.
