Find the boom boom on the upstairs dance floor; surrounded by one of the best sound systems around, it boasts more than 20 speakers and subwoofers. There are tables along the windows overlooking U Street, but make no mistake: This is a place to dance. Patrons who work up an appetite shaking a leg can grab a snack downstairs before heading home. The kitchen serves up Jamaican patty--pasty-like turnovers filled with savory ingredients such as jerk goat and guava goat--carryout-style late into the night.
