Situated right on the water at National Harbor, Bond 45 is a true New York Italian steak and seafood house. Part of Shelly Fireman's restaurant empire, the National Harbor location of Bond 45 is his first expansion outside Manhattan--find Bond 45's flagship location near Times Square. Befitting the restaurant's theater district roots, the design of the Maryland location was a collaboration with John Lee Beatty, a Tony award-winning Broadway set designer. Beatty recreates the feeling of 1940s New York--and captures Tuscany along the way-- in great detail with the open kitchen (per Italian tradition), an old-time revolving door and a beef-aging locker from which diners can select their steak--either corn-fed prime or grass-fed choice--straight from the display. The experience is completed with a Prohibition cocktail such as the Illegally Blonde; served in a teacup, the cops will never guess there's liquor inside.
