Citysearch Editorial Review. Agora in Dupont isn’t your standard Mediterranean restaurant. The venue is upscale and intimate, with low lighting and a chatty, professional clientele. The all-tapas menu is designed for sharing among friends and, in fact, more can be said about Agora from what its menu doesn’t offer than what it does. You won’t find hummus or baba ganoush here. Instead, the family-run restaurant dips deep into the recipe books of the Ottoman Empire to offer patrons a taste of true Turkish and Greek food that patrons will be hard pressed to find elsewhere without an international flight. Same goes for its cocktail menu, which features ingredients shipped directly from Turkey.
