Citysearch Editorial Review. This lounge, adjacent to the St. Regis hotel's Adour restaurant is a modern, glamorous nook for expertly made cocktails and casual conversation. The bright space occupies the corner of 16th and K streets, and plentiful windows make it bright and cheery, unlike some similar upscale hotel bars in the area. Designed by David Rockwell, the space is a rich mix of violet, black, blue and silver; satiny throw pillows decorate navy settes, and mod silver light fixtures reflect off polished black tabletops. As the menu notes, the bar's signature cocktails are "designed with wine in mind" and feature elegant, "Sex and the City"-worthy concoctions made with Prosecco and fresh ingredients such as muddled blackberries.
