Citysearch Editorial Review. With flavors such as coconut, chocolate decadence, cherry amaretto and ginger candy, Georgetown Scoops isn’t the typical neighborhood ice cream shop. Situated at the edge of Georgetown but still within walking distance from the Foggy Bottom Metro stop, Georgetown Scoops offers a refreshing menu of frozen treats. The ice cream flavors include a unique array of unusual mixes as well as childhood favorites. In addition to homemade ice cream, it also serves all-natural fresh fruit sorbet smoothies, pastries and baked goods. Inside, space and seating are limited, so enjoy cones al fresco either at the tables in front of the shop or while strolling down M Street.
