Great Service and Amazing Food!. I came here for dinner for my birthday recently and was honestly impressed. The service was incredible from the host staff, bartender, and server. I don't remember the bartender's name, but he made the best dirty martini ever! (They have jalapeno stuffed and bleu cheese stuffed olives, yum!) As for the food, you can't go wrong with anything here; I had the tuna tartare and the tiny dumplings to start (their signature dishes) and the American style Kobe short ribs, where the meat was very tender and flavor full.

That's not to say it doesn't stand out on the restaurant scene; the Asian-fusion cuisine, imagined by world-famous chef Wolfgang Puck, ensures that this hot spot jumps off the map of D.C. eateries. Boasting 2,000 bottles of wine (all neatly displayed in a two-story glass wall) the downstairs lounge is a must for vinophiles in search of a quick bite, while the second floor fine dining section provides a more subdued experience. After being named Restaurant of the Year in 2008 by both the local Restaurant Association and DC Magazine, The Source continues to live up to its reputation with an epicurean selection ranging from wood-oven pizzas to lacquered Chinese duckling with wild huckleberries.
