Friendly, Neighborhood Salon. I'd like to think that Parlour is all it cracked up to be according to reviews on sites elsewhere (i.e. Yelp), but I wasn't incredibly impressed when I got a cut here. The cut was good, I only asked for a trim and layers to be put in and he spruced my layers nicely. The staff are all very nice, engaging and friendly, and my stylist was great about asking what I normally do with my hair, what I like, what I don't like, etc. The downside was the blow-dry: my stylist rushed through it and just dragged a brush through my hair while moving the dryer all over the place, and pretty much did a job that I could've done better myself. He was very rough with the brush and I could hear/feel lots of hairs breaking. At the end my hair looked better than it did before, but it wasn't any better than a blow-out I've received elsewhere.
