A pretty good bang for your buck. I can't say much about the sushi here because I've only managed to get a seat here for brunch, early on a Saturday afternoon. That's the thing about Sticky Rice - they don't take reservations, and you can try to get a seat here for dinner at night, but you have to wait awhile.

But you can avoid a wait and still get your choice of sushi or brunch dishes on weekend afternoons, when you won't get hit with crowds. Their egg scramble is HUGE and tasty and very filling: scrambled eggs, hash browns (chopped up tots), bacon, onions, and cheese. It was very heavy for me so I only managed to make a small dent. Their tater tots are great; they come out nice and hot in a bucket with their special sauce, which I would totally dip anything into.

If you happen to be in the H St./Atlas district early on a weekend, go for Sticky Rice. At least than $10 per dish, it's a good deal, especially since you may have plenty to take home after.

Citysearch Editorial Review. The Atlas District is known for its grunge-posh vibe, and Sticky Rice is no exception. Tattoo-laden bartenders serve up saketinis to hordes of hip patrons who pack the bar area. Like the rest of H St, Sticky Rice may not look like much, with its exposed brick and second-hand Asian decor, but the menu features reasonably priced, generous portions of pan-Asian cuisine and creative sushi roll creations you won’t find anywhere else. The Sticky Balls and the Godzirra are its most popular sushi rolls, and the establishment has gone out of its way to create unique vegan and vegetarian sushi options that go outside the boring standards.
