A Healthy Fast-Food Alternative. DC is not lacking in the fast-salad market (Sweetgreen, Freshii, Mixt Greens, etc.). Chop't is actually one of the better ones and among all the competition with regular fast food joints in Chinatown/Penn Quarter, Chop't holds its own. I love the wide variety of options available, including meats and dressings, and that anything can get put into wrap form for easier on-the-go dining. And I've noticed that the actual produce at Chop't always looks fresh, not hours or days old. Expect healthy, quality salads (or wraps) here. If you're hanging out in Chinatown, and want to avoid the greasy alternatives, opt for Chop't.

Good salads make great wraps. I am a big wrap fan. When sandwiches can wear on me day after day wraps are seemingly always a welcome staple in my day to day quest for lunch. Chop't has some of teh most fresh salad offerings in DC and they will gladly turn any of their specialty salads into a specialty wrap upon request. Though by comparison to some other local wrap joins such as Sweet Green, Chop't can come out a little bit steep with regards to price it is still a ncie weekly treat if you are in the mood for a fresh wrap or salad offering! They also have some tasty desserts to take back to the office for when the mid day slump hits and you need your sugar fix.
