Tips for Inti Peruvian Restaurant

Tasty Peruvian Birds.
Sometimes going to a restaurant at odd hours is the best way to really get to know the place. Walking around 18th street on a rainy afternoon, my friend and I walked into an empty Inti, save a drunk couple at the window. The only other people there were the owners and friends, where the one server stayed put during out entire meal. We showed up because a sign on the street promised Peruvian-themed rotisserie chicken plus a salad and side for $6.95. The food did not disappoint – the chicken was tender and moist, flavored by not slathered with herbs and spices, and the beans and salad accompanied the dish nicely. A little green sauce gave the chicken a nice piquant kick. Though our waiter neglected us, the chef clearly did not. I didn’t get to try anything else, but this was a great deal. Plus, free fried corn kernels!
