The non franchise taste sub place. If you like sandwiches and haven't yet been to potbelly you are missing out. The homely taste of a warm turkey and cheese sandwich makes subway and quiznos look very processed and the feel of the whole shop is inviting. Plus they have great milkshakes to compliment your meal.

What started as an antique shop in Chicago is a now one of the district's favorite sandwich chains; the Columbia Heights location, along with others throughout D.C., is a lunchtime favorite for toasted sandwiches, made-to-order salads, soup and home-style desserts such as thick milkshakes and large, fresh-from-the-oven chocolate chip and sugar cookies.
