Bustling BBQ Spot in Annandale. Honey Pig is probably one of the more well-known and popular Korean bbq spots in the DC/MD/VA area; despite being nowhere close to a metro station and still quite far for those who have a car, this restaurant is almost always packed, so those willing to drive out to Annandale have to expect to wait at least 10-15 minutes for table, depending on what day/time you go and how many people are in your group. But it's totally worth it. Some folks who are real Korean bbq aficionados claim that it isn't as good as what you can get elsewhere but for the rest of us less-knowing (and less-caring), it's more than good enough. The meat is always thick and juicy and whatever they marinade their pork or their beef in is absolutely delicious. I'm a fan of their pork belly and their bulgogi and love getting the several little bowls of kimchee and other veggies before the meat comes (which really doesn't take long after ordering). Everything is cooked at gas stoves on the tables (unless you order an app or a hot pot or soup). The atmosphere is great too, with Korean TV playing on flat screens around the restaurant and an industrial-chic decor.
